Baltimore’s Home for Football Bowling
Football bowling is the best of both sports: throwing a football without the running and getting tackled, and bowling without the heavy balls and weird shoes. Located inside Urban Axes, 1st and Tenpin is the perfect location for your next birthday party, date night, team event or fun night out with friends. Grab some friends, a drink from our fully stocked bar (we are a 21+ facility), and get ready for an awesome time!
How To Play
- Split your group into 2 teams and stand on opposite ends of the lane.
- Take turns throwing the football and knocking over the other team’s pins.
- First team to knock over all their opponents pins wins.
- Grab a drink, mix up the teams, and go again!
Ready to Footbowl?
- Grab some friends! This is a team event, with each lane fitting 2-12 people, (two teams of 1-6 competing against each other). An ideal group size for one lane is 8 people, but you can squeeze 12 in, just know each person will be throwing less. If you have above 10 people or more, definitely consider booking two lanes.
- We have two football bowling lanes, but they are on opposite sides of the building. You can easily switch between lanes between games, but know you won’t be right next to each other.
- Each lane is right next to an axe throwing arena, so if you have a larger group and want to be next to each other, contact our events team about combining axe throwing and 1st and Tenpin!
- Pick a time and MAKE A BOOKING! We will only have walk-ins during limited hours (page link to where walk-in hours are below here), and ONLY if the lanes aren’t booked. No space will be reserved for walk-ins, so don’t leave us a 1-star review when you show up without a booking and there are no spaces available! - Show up 10 min early for your reservation to get checked in (don’t forget your 21+ ID!) We are located inside Urban Axes, next to Monument City Brewery.
